Martin`s Custom Artist series has always been an exclusive one. The tradition continues on with D-28 Mamas and the Papas dreadnought. This model was, along with the rest of the novelties, introduced at the NAMM Show this year. This D-28 is made to celebrate the career of the cult band, Mamas and the Papas. It is limited to only 100 copies worldwide, so the exclusivity is guaranteed, as only selected few will ever have them. Electronics are not on the list of the pecs, but can optionally be installed. The neck is made of mahogany with a low profile and dovetail joint at the 14th fret. The fingerboard is made of ebony and boasts 20 frets with mother-of-pearl style 28 inlays and 1-11/16″ wide bone string nut.
