Great Pram for First Time Mum

Love love love. My mum and dad got us this pram as a present for our son (their first grandson). They bought us the bassinet also which was awesome to when bubs was a brand new baby.
I love that the chair can be forward and rear facing, and also how much air circulation there is. Living in Darwin’s hot and humid weather this was a must when we shopped around. It also lays almost completely flat, which has made it great for when I needed to change bubs and there wasn’t a change table available.
The storage underneath is a good size.
Super easy to fold and unfold.
My only minor issue is that the hood has trouble staying completely opened.

Easy to fold and unfold

I’m quite happy with my decision of pram. It is easy to maneuver (mine has no reversible option) and once you know how to unfold it, it can be done with one hand. The other thing I like about this pram is the extra large size canopy, it blocked more sunlight and so more protection from UV. I got the brown fabric colour one which is easy to maintain.

Has lots of great features. Heavy to push.

I have the Armadillo Flip, the model before the upgraded XT that you can buy now. This pram has so many great features and it could be the perfect and only lightweight pram that you ever need. Some of the things I liked was reversible seat, absolutely huge canopy, lightweight, narrow frame but a huge seat, big storage basket, one handed fold and seat lays flat so you don’t have to buy a bassinet for a newborn (although there is one available).

bought without pushing. I think that if I had been able to push first I might have reconsidered purchasing. Even with a newborn in it I had to use two hands at all time to steer and push. It has a great turning circle and can fit in any shop but don’t expect to be able to hold anything else while pushing. This is so disappointing to me as in every other way this pram could be absolutely perfect. I hesitate to recommend it to anyone because despite all the fantastic features, at the end of the day if a pram isn’t enjoyable to push then what’s the point?
